Troubleshooter - Cooker hood

The batteries may be empty or wrongly placed.
At the flat version of Remote Control (E.g. model RM7000):
A replacement battery is available in the regular shops, type MN21/23.
After placement of the battery the control must be recognized by the cooker hood. To do so, the mains plug of the cooker hood must be unplugged for about 1 min. Turn the hood On afterwards, press an arrow button until the booklet icon appears and finally press the central button for 5 sec., as described in the user instructions.
At the conic-pillar version of Remote Control (E.g. model RM8700):
Replacement batteries are available in the regular shops, type type = V394 (4 pcs.). Make sure the batteries are placed correctly, the rounded side is the "-" pole and the even surface is "+" pole.
After placement of the batteries the control must be recognized by the cooker hood. To do so, the mains plug of the cooker hood must be unplugged for about 1 min. Turn the hood On afterwards and press the control down until the cooker hood responds, as described in the user instructions.
