Research before buying

I rushed into this purchase as I was in need of a cooker and this was the only make and model with next to no lead time. I now see why and wish I had spent the time researching before spending so much money. They have their own heat setting system. I don't understand the need to recreate a perfectly functional gas mark/oC/oF system?! What's worse is that the numbers on the settings are so close and the cheap plastic dial is quite lose, so it may look as though it's on one setting and be on another. I suppose I will have to kiss goodbye to my love of baking as it will quite honestly be a disaster with this cooker. The gas ignition on one of the hobs doesn't work so I will be back in touch as it's under warranty. I'm hopeful that it's enough to rid myself of this Zanussi nightmare and start over.

Worst cooker I have had

The oven shelves have rims so you can't just slide trays in and out. Very fiddly. I have turned them upside down.
The grill tray has no handle so you have to use a glove or cloth to pull it out. You have to put the grill on prior to cooking to let it warm up and it only has 1 setting.I have since bought a toaster less hassle.
The smaller ring burner does not go low enough to simmer so food still bubles away.
The Gas ovens work really well.
Would never buy a cooker with electric grill again.

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with the design and how your product works.

If you feel that your appliance is not working to specification and requires a repair then you are entitled to have an engineer inspect and repair your appliance under the terms of the warranty.

However if you are unhappy with the appliance despite it being in full working order, we find this disheartening to know that a customer is not fully satisfied with their appliance; in this case I must advise that you contact your retailer for further assistance on this matter.

Love it

I’ve only had the cooker since February, but so far I am loving it. Great size ovens. One large gas burner on the hob, the others are regular or small. No problem with the grill, although I only grill cheese on toast so far. No complaints. Nice quality cooker.

Why exactly does the light remains ON whenever the oven is working? Seems a waste of energy really.

The current design of our ovens have the light feature to allow the consumer to be able to check the food within the oven at any time without having to open the door and/or manually switch the light on.
