This is a well made cooker and a delight to look at and use. However, only after having the cooker installed did we discover two major drawbacks. Our previous 16-year old Cannon dual-fuel cooker was perfect. We could use the Delay Timer to start the oven cooking when we were out of the house so that the meal would be ready on our return. And since it was a dual-fuel cooker with electric ovens and gas rings, we could still use it for cooking on the rings in the event of a power failure. We can do neither of these basic functions with this new cooker. The 'Comprehensive Timer' has no Delay function, and the instructions tell us that the gas rings need electricity to operate (I guess due to the electronic cutout activated by the lid). These are two serious disadvantages which are not mentioned in any review. Any potential customer needs to consider if these two features are important to them.
