Electric Oven

Having always relied upon Zanussi for their great products, this is the most disappointing oven ever - for many reasons. It heats up unevenly, the back right corner burns much hotter so I have to rotate food - this doesn't work when baking as opening the oven door ruins the cake. Every time you open the door you are hit by a massive plume of steam which could take your eyebrows off. As a spectacles wearer this means I actually have to remove my glasses before opening the door otherwise I am blinded as the lenses steam up completely. Finally, having chosen this oven for its pyrolytic cleaning - what a farse. You have to remove all the inner racking, leave it for two hours (at the expense of the electricity), only to find it has cleaned three quarters of the insides but left a two inch band near the door and it doesn't even touch the glass which is just as greasy as it was at the start which meant I was back to scrubbing - this is not how the oven was advertised. I absolutely regret the purchase and am now stuck with a useless oven as I can't afford to replace it. I would not recommend this oven to anyone.

Firstly, check your spelling of opinion.
The product is fine. However, i do not understand why you do not issue a second shelf as standard. I spent a further 20 pounds to obtain one.
The dial needs a spot of colour - other than black. The dial i refer to is the selection pointer of fan etc.
Other than above- the oven is fine.

So disappointed with this. The oven doesn't cook evenly. Technicians have been to check and decided it's within tolerance but the oven cooks unevenly. Zanussi's answer - rotate whatever's being cooked half way through. This obviously doesn't work with many things as - for instance - taking Yorkshire puddings out of the oven 'to rotate' will result in biscuits...Whoever offered this advice clearly isn't a cook. Won't be buying from Zanussi again.

What a great oven heats fairly quickly and so quiet. Had a loan oven of theZOHNX3X1 until this oven was available and this is a world better well worth the extra cash haven’t used the cleaning function yet but used other oven settings and the pizza one is great. Only draw back is comes with only 1 shelf another would have been nice
