Replacement fridge/freezer

The new integrated Zanussi fridge/freezer fitted perfectly into our existing unit, even the mounting holes lined up. This unit has more usable space than our previous one. The unit is quiet and efficient. We are glad we chose Zanussi.

Thank you for your 5* rating and review of your new fridge freezer, we're delighted that you like it. One particular feature that customers appreciate is the capacity, there's plenty of storage space in both fridge and freezer with 163 litre fridge and 106 litre freezer capacity.

This model is also a 'Low Frost' model which requires defrosting every 2 years as opposed to every 6 months.

The low frost function means less defrosting the fast freeze function will also lock in nutrients as soon as food is placed in the freezer.

Replacement fridge freezer

Got this as a replacement for my faulty fridge freezer which I only had 2 months and was faulty. I've had this about 2 weeks now and this fridge freezer is noisy. I can hear it over my TV when the fridge freezer compressor kicks in. It's very irritating. The neighbours don't hear their fridge freezer and it was the older model which I previously had.

Not impressed with Zanussi product's. If I didn't have a built in fridge slot which came with my apartment then I'd go to a different brand.

However I am disappointed to read that you are unhappy with the noise which your appliance is presenting.

As you have only had this appliance for a number of weeks, we would certainly recommend contacting our consumer care department on 03445 612 612 and have them investigate this matter further as they can arrange for an engineer to inspect and potentially repair this appliance for you.

However if you are unhappy to go ahead with an inspection and potential repair from an engineer and would prefer a replacement, we can only recommend speaking with your retailer, and they can make the commercial decision to either replace this appliance for you or refund you the amount you have paid.

Products OK - but drawers are a complete disaster.

We got 2 of these integrated fridge freezers in our new home 4 years ago. Every single freezer drawer is cracked or smashed making them extremely dangerous to open and shut. Frost free is a joke. When I told them every drawer needed replacing, instead of admitting a design flaw, they said they would be 60-70£ each. Times that by 8 and it's cheaper to buy new products that work properly. A disgrace. SO angry. They should have a longer warranty on them in this day and age. And to produce replacements at that cost must also destroy the environment. AVOID at ALL COSTS.

Thank you for your review and we are sorry that the appliance has not fully met your expectations and that your drawers have become damaged and hope that the following points may assist in addressing this matter.
Damage to the drawers can occur due to different reasons such as, overfilling or even using abrasive cleaners that can wear off and degrade the material. It is important to ensure not to overfill the drawers as it can cause difficulty in opening that can lead into straining the material when removing it from the freezer. When cleaning, make sure that all residue and product used is rinsed out before putting it back in the freezer, for further guidance please refer to the user manual. Due to these reasons, removable parts are not covered under the guarantee cover and replacement would be chargeable when the product is within or outside of the warranty.
