Before any maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
Always take care when moving appliances, for heavy appliances it's necessary two persons to move it.
Always use safety gloves and enclosed footwear.
Please note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can have safety consequences if not done properly
Freezer & fridge doors
TOOLS
1. Cross-head screw driver
2. 10mm inner hexagon spanner
3. Stable stool (about 50cm high)
STEP 1
Unscrew (2 pieces) to remove top hinge cover.
Open the door slight and pull up hinge cover front
STEP 2
Unconnect 2 housings by pressing the lock.
STEP 3
Unscrew earth (ground).
STEP 4
Remove top hinge bolt with the spanner.
STEP 5
Remove top hinge by pulling upward the front.
STEP 6
Remove the door by pulling it forward & upward.
STEP 7
Place a new door.
Insert bottom bushing into bottom hinge pole first.
STEP 8
Replace top hinge.
Insert the hinge groove to the bracket first, then press down the front to fit into top bushing.
STEP 9
Replace hinge bolt and earth screw.
STEP 10
Reconnect housings.
Be sure to connect them until the locks click.
STEP 11
Replace top hinge cover and screw it (2 pieces).
Clap the front of hinge cover for easy fix.
Appliances with water dispenser (EAL6140WOU, RMB56111NX, RMB76111NX, EAL6140WOW, EAL6240AOU, RMB66111NX, EAL6142BOX, RMB86111NX, RMB76121NX):
Before Step 1 in the instructions above, remove kick plate and water hose (1a, 1b, 1c)
Replace water hose and kick plate (pictures of 11a, b, c) after STEP 11 in the instructions above
